California Golden Bears - 2 , BYU (1-0) returns four starters from last year's 23-9 Co-MWC champ team. Cal (0-1) returns three All-Pac-10 players and 11 lettermen from last years 22-9 team which posted a first round NCAA win over decent N.C.State. The Bears are 44-6 last 52 home games. They're tabbed by coaches for third in the tough Pac-10.

Utah Utes + 5 , Texas Tech (3-0) has blown out three lightweights.Tech went 5-10 ATS final 15 games last season. Utah (3-0) coach Rick Majerus has led his team to conference titles in eight of the last nine seasons, posting eight straight NCAA appearances. The Utes are 23-5 last 28 games, and 7-2 ATS last nine games when getting points.

Oklahoma State Cowboys - 8 , Colorado State (1-0) opened 1-7 (SU & ATS) in road games last season, losing the seven by an average of 17 ppg. No.24 Oklahoma State (1-0) opened at home Friday night beating lightweight NW State 90-62, shooting 61 percent from the field, their best mark since Nov.'00. The Cowboys are 108 - 1 last 109 non-conference home games. Tonight's games is up the road in Tulsa, where the Cowboys are 14-1 under head coach Eddie Sutton.

Syracuse Orangemen - 10.5 , Charlotte (1-1) went 0-9 vs. ranked teams last season, losing the nine by an average of 17 ppg. Defending National Champ AP No.7 Syracuse (0-0) returns three starters plus four other veterans from last seasons title run. The Orangemen posted a 17-0 (7-6 ATS) home record last season. They're 24-3 in season-opening games under coach Jim Boeheim.
